Auditions and Guidelines
An audition can occur any time of year, even if it is intended for the future choir season.

Membership in the Jubilate! Chamber Choir constitutes a serious commitment.
Guidelines
Attendance and Punctuality:
Monday evenings, St. Mary's Kerrisdale Church, 2490 W. 37th Ave. Vancouver. Click here for a map Regular rehearsals begin promptly at 7:30 pm and run until 9:30 pm. Dress rehearsals occur on the evening before concerts. Click here for the calendar.
Absences:
Notify your Section Leader beforehand. More than two absences per concert term will require permission of the Director (to determine concert preparation).
Fee:
$300 per year, non-refundable. $150 for students. Make cheques out to Jubilate! Chamber Choir. Total amount payable in September; or in two instalments, September and January. Fees contribute toward costs of Director, Accompanist, publicity, rental of facilities and performance venues, ticket & program printing, etc.
Sheet Music Caution Fee:
A $20 post-dated deposit cheque must be made out in September to "Jubilate! Chamber Choir", and submitted to the Choir Librarian. This will be returned to choir members when they return all music in good condition.
Concert Attire:
Men -- tuxedos.
Women -- black, formal, floor-length garments. Details to be enumerated at September rehearsal.
Fundraising/Ticket Sales:
A commitment to singing with Jubilate! entails a parallel commitment to bring our concerts to a growing audience base. Ticket selling, plus fund-raising activities, are examples of such a commitment.
